ALICE VR License

Updated: Apr 1, 2020

About This Game Alice VR is a story-driven exploration game rich with puzzles and designed to be a singular VR adventure. Game is inspired by the famous Lewis Carroll's no 5d3b920ae0 Title: ALICE VRGenre: Adventure, IndieDeveloper:Carbon StudioPublisher:KlabaterRelease Date: 27 Oct, 2016 ALICE VR License alice in wonderland stories vr. alice vr fitgirl repack. alice vr download. alice vr oculus. alice vr oculus. alice vr pc gameplay. alice braga. alice vrablic. alice vr crash. alice in wonderland stories vr. alice vrielink. alice in vr. alice vr gog edition. alice in wonderland vr london. alice vr pc. alice vr pc gameplay. via alice vr. alice vr oculus touch. alice vr trailer. vr alice in wonderland. alice in vr. alice in wonderland vr game. alice vr igg. alice vr solucja. alice vr recenze. alice vr pc game. alice vr steam. alice vr igg. alice vr oculus rift. alice in vr land. alice vr gameplay. alice vr razor. alice vr (2016) multi6-pl. alice modas vr. alice vrabel obituary. alice vranka. alice vr v.1.2.4.1. gra alice vr. alice vr gog edition. alice vr-razor1911. alice vr steam. alice vr vive. alice vr gog torrent. alice vr (2016) pc. alice vr ps4 The little bit I played seemed like a good game, but the VR sickness was so bad that I couldn't make it out of engineering before I had to take my headset off.. Very slow-paced and was the first VR game that I had issues with motion sickness.. It's a crying shame that this game doesn't have more reviews! I am very excited by this game's story, setting, and tone. It's Alice in Wonderland reinterpreted to be a sci-fi puzzle-em-up adventure game. What more could you want, eh? The puzzles are a little simple at the start, but I am assuming that is because the game wants to establish the basic mechanics/language for the puzzles and then will ramp difficulty. As for the story, there more going on than what I have seen in my limited time playing, and I'm intrigued by the few snippets of over-arching plot that have been teased!Overall, I have found ALICE VR to be an immersive, engaging, and beutiful game that I cannot wait to keep playing. I know some of the reviews mention graphics quality, but I think those issues have been patched already and, based on my anecdotal and limited experience, the concerns seemed limited to Vive users (the game looked amazing on my Oculus and when played in 2D).If you're curious to see how this game plays, take a look at the video below (there is a short clip of the game running on the Oculus headset towards the end):. The important part: Oculus Touch controllers are not supported, and it crashes the game as soon as you attempt to use them.**The details: Got this game for my Oculus Rift for my girlfriend. The support page says that the game supports both the Oculus Rift headset as well as "Tracked Motion Controllers" under Input. What they don't tell you is that they only included support for the Vive. Girlfriend has to use an Xbox controller (really immersive! /s).From this very Store Page, above this review: "Tailor-made for VR from the ground up - no compromises!" It is a lie. Deception. They do go on to state "Alice VR works on Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and is also compatible with Razer OSVR. Traditional controllers are supported on Oculus, while both them and motion controllers work on Vive." However, this is fairly far down in the (fairly lengthy and padded) product description, and not in the bullet points (which included the (Tailor-made for VR from the ground up - no compromises!").Also, I can't use my computer while she's in VR, because her controller inputs only work when the VR game is mirrored on my screen (can't alt+tab out without cancelling her ability to click on anything in-game). So that's also annoying.Overall, I spent less than $3 on it when it was on sale on Fanatical. I can't refund, but it's not the money that is upsetting (it's throw away money at that price). It is the direct deception used to sell the game. It's not right, and should not be tolerated by other Oculus users. (Flat-screen / Vive, purchase away. I hope it's awesome for you guys, honestly.). Alice VR is a good game for anyone who wants a relaxing but immersive experience. It allows you to really step into the game world and feel the significance of your actions, but it doesn't really challenge you unless you have very low tolerance for motion sickness - and the publishers' open response to feedback gives hope that anyone will be able to enjoy this game on VR.. I thought the idea of a sci-fi version of Alice in Wonderlands sounded like a very interesting concept but what got made was just average. Not bad mind you, just average. From the graphics, performance, options, puzzles, story, I can think of much worse games but can also think of much better. For starters outside of mentioning of characters names from the Alice in Wonderland universe you never actually get to meet any of them. The story also just kind of ends without any real finale. It isn't even a case of being setup for a sequel so much as it just ends with no real resolution. Throughout the game it seems to allude to a grand conspiracy or secret that will be revealed but nothing ever is. It seems to set up a much bigger payoff that never happens. You also get a hint of a moral dilemma when you have the option of getting power for your space ship but at the expense of the planet you are getting it from. No consequences for your actions ever take place though. The graphics are decent but not great. You won't be thinking at any time that you're playing the next Crysis but they're not an eye sore either. I did notice that a constant issue throughout much of the game was that certain textures, mainly rocks or parts of walls, would flicker very often from their normal color to black and back again. Not game breaking but annoying. I was using the most recent version at the time which is patch 6. Seeing that the last update was over a year ago I doubt these flickering textures will be fixed. The performance overall was good. My usual frame rate was 90-100 FPS but I had drops to the 40's and 50's sometimes for short periods of a few seconds. It was kind of weird as at no point in the game is a lot going on so I am not sure the cause of the drops. The game also never crashed on me once. I played at highest settings at 1920*1080. There aren't too many options for those who like that sort of thing. The game has no FOV slider, no manual save options, no vsync option, only 4 graphics options. There are 4 settings for AA though and ALT-TAB works without any issues. The game play itself was pretty simplistic. You have to navigate through puzzles to progress while having the option to take fuel you find lying around. There's really only 3-4 types of puzzles that happen over and over though. More often than not your throwing objects at buttons and shrinking down to reach certain areas. None of it was really challenging or engaging. Again, I didn't have a bad experience but can't bring myself to praise any part of the game. It took me 3 hours to finish the game. I did not play with a VR headset. I played on Linux. Overall if you're desperate for a puzzle game give it a go, there is certainly worse games to play and worse ways to spend a few hours but don't expect too much. I give it 6.5/10My system I used to play the game:AMD Ryzen 5 2600X 16GB DDR4-3000 CL15 MSI RX 580 8GB Gaming X Mesa 18.1.1 Samsung 850 Evo 250GB Solus 3 Kernel 4.16.15-76.current. I bought this on sale. After almost 6 hours of game play I finally beat it.I enjoyed it overall. But the ending was incredibly anti-climactic for the experience. Details below.--------------------PROSBeautiful environments (in graphics settings, turn up the graphics scaling for better visuals)A fun, casual adventure. Not crazy hard or impossible.Great music and ambience--------------------CONSIt's kinda glitchy. The floor height was always too low beneath my feet, I felt like I was hovering most of the time.Whenever I entered the "dream states" the graphical performance became poor. Lot's of stuttering until the dream was over.If you want teleporation as your movement method, you have to decide that in settings BEFORE you start the game. Then you're stuck with the setting you chose. You can't change it mid-game.--------------------You'll be driving a buggy a lot near the beginning of the game, but you'll eventually move past that.Spoilers below:The ending left me really disappointed after playing through the whole game. The narrator basically said "you didn't do well" and then it faded to black. It's possible that I made the wrong choice at the end, but the "moral dilemma" at the end doesn't make any sense. You're supposed to choose between obeying your orders or letting the city keep its resources. But the city is completely uninhabited! Even the Mad Hatter voice that speaks, asking you to spare the city, is a self-proclaimed AI voice. There are no living beings to worry about in the city, therefore the "moral dilemma" has no stakes, and isn't a dilemma at all!I found that confusing, which probably led me to make the incorrect choice at the end. I wish the game provided better closure for you at the end.Anyway, if you find it on sale I think you should try it. Just know that it's a little glitchy, and you need to decide on your movement style at the beginning.. Not what it seems. Amazing demo videos. VR motion sickness gameplay. Walk around with your thumb, they said. It will be fun, they said. Little did I know, I was in for a room-scale no-clip / off-centered clipping adventure where my boundaries were outside the ship. and half in the walls. Wow, you would think they would have fixed some of the issues with this game, or at least tested it with the vive before roomscale was supported. I have asked for a refund. we'll see.. First of all the game works with Oculus Rift, but not with the touch controllers. You need to use a diffrent controller (I used an xbox controller and it works fine with this game). The main issue with the game is movement (which can cause headache in a VR) and the very low quality graphics (even when all the graphic settings are set to high).
